Image Baker: AI-Generated Self Portraits

Image Baker is a personal project where I trained a custom FLUX LORA model on REPLICATE to generate unique AI art of myself. This hobby project explores the intersection of machine learning, art, and self-expression.

Using my own images as training data, I created a model capable of generating AI art featuring myself in various styles and scenarios. The result is a fascinating blend of reality and AI-generated creativity.

The Process

The journey began with collecting a diverse set of my own photos. These images were then used to train a custom FLUX LORA model on the REPLICATE platform. The training process involved fine-tuning the model to recognize and reproduce my features while allowing for creative interpretations in different artistic styles.

Once trained, the model could generate unique pieces of AI art featuring me in various scenarios - from realistic portraits to fantastical scenes and abstract interpretations. This project not only showcases the capabilities of AI in art creation but also explores themes of identity and self-representation in the digital age.
